Re-enactment battle

880 – Battle of Thiméon

The battle fought in February 880 between the sons of the King of East Francia (Louis the Younger and Charles the Fat) and the Vikings.


888 – Coronation of Odo I

Odo, son of Robert the Strong, had made a name for himself during the Siege of Paris. After the West Frankish nobles kicked out Charles the Fat, they crowned Odo as their next king. He would continue to fight the Vikings, but also was caught up on internal struggles.
