Gunhilda of Denmark

Queen Consort of Germany (1036-1038).
FamilyHouse of Knýtlinga.
Her parents are Cnut the Great and Emma of Normandy.
Husband is Henry III (1036).
Children: Beatrice.
Life1025 – Sent to Germany as a child for the marriage her father made with Conrad II.
Accused of adultery, retreats to convent after victorious trial by combat, but reconciles with husband.
1038 – Died on return trip from expedition to Italy.
